I am certain you do not remember us, but Susan and I were on the cruise for our 35th wedding anniversary last April 2009 (it was the cruise where the three Hispanic women always wanted you to play Georgia which you always did). We enjoyed your music and still enjoy the CDs we purchased. It brings back a lot of great memories.

Hello Stan Sykes, My sister and I really enjoyed your music and visiting with you while we were on our cruise,it was one of the highlights. Remember I didnt know where St. Louis is, My sister thought they moved the bar ha ha , well we had a good laugh.

Hi Stan, I want you to know how much I enjoyed your Just Stan cd. I love your voice, can't get enough of it!! It's all about love and being loved. It makes a person reflect on the past and not paying attention of the meaning of the words. Now as we are older, the real meaning comes out. You are so real and pure. Your music is by far better than the Mow Town of the past. Your voice is so sentual, so enticing and inviting. I can even here every breath you take, when your singing. I am so addicted to your voice and your music . You make my blood boil! You have enlightened my life many times over and I thank you for that! I recently picked up your Scrapbook cd from cdbaby. We just returned home today from the 7-day cruise to Alaska. You were in the Carosel Lounge for 2 nights...in fact we brought your CD the first night we heard you. Sounds great man! I really like the site. The lamp thing is REALLY cool. Fits the vibe of your music. Your tunes sound really good. I've always been a fan of your voice.
Give me a call when you get the chance 'cause i want to talk to you about some aspects of a site and selling things. I just have what stuff I have posted so far as MP3s and anyone can just download them for free. As I get more stuff posted I want to be able to sell the tunes. There's a thing called tunecore.com which is another way to sell individual tracks (like Myspace). But I just want to get your input if I can. I know a lot of people (especially overseas) love World music and that seems to be where my head is at lately and I would like to try and start approaching that market.
Man - I still have so much to figure out. The music is the easy part.

We saw your show several nights while on our cruise to Alaska 8/11/2007-8/18/2007. You are a very talented man and enjoyed your music. During a break for one of your shows you came over and talked to my husband and myself. Must have talked about 10-15 minutes. We really appreciated that. Since you are from Las Vegas and our business is based there so we had alot to talk about. Had the pleasure of hearing Stan on a recent NCL cruise to Alaska. (5/19/07 to 5/26/07) He is a great talent indeed. His audience appeal was very indicative of that of the late great Lou Rawls when I had the pleasure of meeting him on one occassion in Charlotte, NC many years ago. Thanks for the new memories Stan.

I had the opportunity to work with Stan on two major projects, The BeBe Winans Radio Show and The Donnie McClurkin Show. My company Blue Sky Productions produces both of these nationally syndicated radio programs. Stan wrote and produced the Jingle for the Donnie McClurkin Show and his writing and world class production is why this jingle is so memorable and stands in a league all it's own.
